Hummm...were do I start today?   Well I guess I could let everyone know that I am currently listening to Chris Thile...he is pretty much amazing!  Practice today was really hard in the morning...lots of sprints and then the second session wasn't too bad.  Except for the fact that I had to say good-bye to my family ten minutes before I headed down to the field, so I was crying and the whole practice I was trying to keep myself together.  It was really hard to say bye...I didn't really expect it to be quite so hard. 

Since I got here I've really been wondering if I can handle college.  As of now I am not really excited about it at all.  I would rather be at home and surrounded by all the people who know and love me.  My dad was really helpful to me though.  He told me that God has special plans for my life, and that He planned for me to go to Houghton and to play hockey.  He told me that God doesn't want to fail me but to prosper me.  It really helped to hear that from my dad when I said bye.

Oh...I think I am officially a theif.  In the cafeteria here at houghton we're not really supposed to take food out of there and into our dorms....yeah so I have taked like six pears from there and I don't intend on stopping either.

Last thing:  I learned a really funny joke a few weeks ago, if you've already heard it then laugh some more if you haven't heard it then here it is:

A-   "BOOBIES"
